Trinity this week – Thanksgiving Sunday

Hello Trinity Friends

,
Please join us for Thanksgiving worship (plus baptisms) this Sunday at 10:30 am, in person or on YouTube Trinity’s YouTube Channel.  For those planning to join us in person, please note that seating is limited and masks are mandatory.  There is also a chance that we may be at capacity – with physical distance measures in place, our seating is limited.  If you come late, or if we are full, please accept our apologies for not being able to attend in person, but feel welcome to join us for worship on our YouTube Channel Trinity’s YouTube Channel or on Cogeco’s YourTV a week later (Channel 12 and HD700 at 8 am and 3 pm).

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the Christian Education and Outreach Committee is requesting donations to the Food Shelf Ministries here at Trinity.  Non-perishable food items such as peanut butter, cereal, canned milk, granola bars, as well as feminine hygiene products, and plastic bags or a monetary donation would all be most welcome!  You can drop them off in the baskets at the back of the Sanctuary when you arrive. Trinity provides a weekly Food Shelf and an Infant Food Shelf to those who need it in our community – we have operated throughout the pandemic.  Thank-you for supporting this very important ministry!

Save the Date!  – Mossy Church (Hallowe’en Style) – Saturday October 30th – early evening.  More details to follow.
A reminder that on November 7th we will be honouring and remembering  those members of our Faith community whom we have lost during Covid times.  We are aware that many of our church family have lost members of their families during this time.  If you’d like us to share their name and photo during our memorial time in worship, please send your photo and the family member’s name to me (Lisa) by October 24th.  You may email it to blais.trinity@gmail.com or bring it in to the church prior to Oct 24th and we can scan it and return it to you right away.

As you gather around your tables – with perhaps a few less people than other years – may your hearts be filled with gratitude and love. Happy Thanksgiving!
