January

  • Soup Tasting Night
  • Baptism Sunday
  • Robbie Burns’ Sunday

February

  • Snowshoe Sunday – all ages winter fun
  • Trinity Families Retreat Weekend at Spirit Point – Family Day Weekend
  • Annual Congregational Meeting – a Sunday at the end of the month following our service
  • Scouting Sunday – A Sunday close to Lord Baden Powell Day

March/April

  • Red Hot Chili Cook Off and Music Night
  • Trinity Rocks Curling Event
  • Trinity Coffee House Talent Night

Lent/Easter Events

  • Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper – Shrove Tuesday – Tuesday before the beginning of Lent
  • Palm Sunday – New Members received during worship
  • Youth and Young Adult Overnight Vigil begins Maundy Thursday and ends with Good Friday
  • AOTS Good Friday Breakfast
  • United Church wide Good Friday Service at different United Churches each year
  • Easter Sunrise Service – shared with St. Andrew’s
  • Easter Sunday Communion Service

May

  • Annual Talent and Services Auction

June

  • Teacher Appreciation Day – 2nd or 3rd Sunday
  • Trinity Testosterone Men’s Canoe Weekend – mid-late June

Summer Months

  • Vacation Bible Camp – one week in July or August depending on which month Trinity is closed

September

  • Rally Back Picnic – Camp Tillicum – the afternoon of the Sunday following Labour Day
  • Apple Pie Making – sometime in late September /early October

October

  • Worldwide Communion Sunday

November

  • UCW Christmas Tea and Bazaar – Second Saturday – afternoon
  • Santa Claus Parade – float or pre-parade party – around third Sunday in November
  • Annual Cookie Walk – Last Saturday in November

December

  • UCW Christmas Catered Dinner – Monday evening – early December
  • Dickens/Christmas Reading for the Gathering Place – mid-week evening
  • Sunday School Christmas Pageant – during service – usually 3rd Sunday in Advent
  • Choir Cantata – Sunday afternoon – mid December this year – may change in subsequent years
  • Longest Night Service – shared with St. Andrew’s – typically December 21st
  • Christmas Eve Family Service 7 pm – Communion Service follows

Other regular events that are not pinned to specific date

  • Mustard Seed Youth Theatre performance – usually early spring
  • Glitter Gourmet Dinner – no specific date – has been late fall and early spring
  • Trinity Families Events – approximately every other month on a Saturday or Sunday
  • AOTS Ladies night – dinner at another location – Emmanuel  United for example
  • Youth Group Events – throughout the year
  • J.O.Y. Band, Rapport, Joyful Bells concert

Recurring Events

  • AOTS breakfast and meeting – usually first Saturday of the month
  • Mossy Church – All ages Family centred events that take place outdoors several times a year
