Trinity this week – First Sunday in Lent – February 18, 2024

Happy Friday Trinity Friends,

Trinity families are busily getting ready for their annual retreat weekend. While they are worshipping and sharing Communion at Spirit Point, the Trinity congregation will be worshipping and sharing Communion as well.  On this first Sunday in Lent, Rev. Kathy will lead our worship and preside over Communion. Our Blues Lent kicks off with David McCallum sharing a beloved Canadian classic!  In Sunday School children will be continuing their rotation on Love through a craft project.

Just a reminder to all that our Lift has been shut down for some upgrades until further notice. We deeply regret the inconvenience this may cause to anyone with mobility issues. We hope you can join us for worship via YouTube. As soon as repairs have been completed we will let you know! https://www.youtube.com/c/TrinityNorthBay

This week’s Friday email will be jam packed with announcements – please take some time to read through it so you don’t miss anything!

The United Chill Crusaders

Our local United Churches have joined together to raise money for the Gathering Place.  We would love you to join us!  You can do that by: Joining us for the walk on Friday February 24th (meeting time and place to be determined), donate to the team (see Jim Liddell after church on Sunday) or click on the link to donate United Chill Crusaders.

The Food shelf relies 100% from donations from our congregation and wider community.  Thank you for your support!

Joyful Bells (Handbell Choir) Open House Invitation Wednesday, February 21, 2024 6:30-7:30 pm
The open house will give you an opportunity to try ringing handbells, learn about the choir and ask lots of questions. Then over refreshments you can chat with the choir members. The Joyful Bells under the direction of Brenda McLay has been meeting for about 10 years and is looking for people to join. No handbell experience is needed. The ability to read music is an asset but if you can count and are open to learning new things, this may be for you.
