Trinity Fall Newsletter and Correspondence – Sept 3, 2021

Hello Trinity Friends,

I hope you have been enjoying some summer sabbath time!  You will find our Fall Newsletter below. Please read through it for information about our fall activities.  We will be back in our offices, after Labour Day – beginning Tuesday September 7th.  The Covid Risk Team will be meeting that week as well to determine any updates to our safety protocols and a safe return to some of our beloved activities and groups.

If you have any specific questions about that please give us a call at the church office later in the week (Thursday Sept 9th or Friday Sept 10th) as we should have some more clarification then.

We return to in person worship on Sunday September 12th.  Covid protocols (physical distancing, masks, etc.) will be in place – more will be shared about that in the days to come.  Sunday School and nursery care are on hold for just a little longer – we hope to resume those in October!  In the afternoon of the 12th, join us for some outside Trinity family time at Camp Tillicum from 3 to 6 pm.  We will have time to catch up with one another, play some games and enjoy a lakeside Vesper’s Service.  We will also be celebrating the upcoming birth of Kawai and Julie’s baby.  (See details in the newsletter)

Bob Cook, our Building and Grounds Chair asked me to pass on the following message:Many thanks go out to the energetic crew that attended our fall work bee on Saturday. The focus of the work was on areas that have had little use since the start of the pandemic.

We have managed to tidy up many areas and do the deep clean.  More work to be done but for now, we have an inviting church ready for use.

Thanks on behalf of Building and Grounds.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon – until then, stay safe and be well!
