Trinity Weekly Post – February 6th – 14th

Hello Trinity Friends!

In a few short hours Trinity’s Annual Coffee House talent evening will begin.  It is a wonderful evening where musicians, actors, dancers and other talented individuals showcase their skills.  The Heavenly Hosts and Trinity’s Junior Choir will also be performing.  Decadent desserts, gourmet coffee and tea and fantastic entertainment – all for a good will offering to The United Church of Canada’s Mission and Service Fund.  Doors open at 6:30 with entertainment beginning at 7pm.  All are welcome!
 
This Sunday (February 8th) during our morning worship, we will be joined by the Young Sudbury Singers.  Children in Grade 3 and up are encouraged to remain upstairs for the entire service.  Younger children in grade 2 and under are welcome to go downstairs for Sunday School.  Please remind your children that they will remain in church with you this Sunday.  Younger children will proceed downstairs as usual, after the children’s time.

No Fear King Lear Lecture #2 – Behind the Sonnets
Led by Tracey Berti – the secret and fascinating story of how Shakespeare’s sonnets came to be. Wednesday February 11th, 7pm.  Tickets $15  Reception to follow.
 
If Music be the Food of Love: an evening of love, beauty and romance. Featuring an evening of Shakespearean songs and sonnets performed by celebrity guests and followed by a decadent dessert reception.  Saturday February 14th 7 pm.  Tickets $20 (available at the door).
