Trinity this week – May 7, 2023

Hello Trinity Friends!
Thanks to our friends at St. Andrew’s for hosting a wonderful Fifth Sunday service last Sunday.  It has been such a positive and enriching experience to join together with our United Church faith family from our community. We look forward to worshipping at Carmichael United Church in July!  We also would like to extend congratulations and good wishes to St. Andrew’s on the 10th anniversary of becoming an Affirming congregation this Sunday.
We return to our own place of worship this Sunday at 10:30 am. In Sunday School the children will begin a series of lessons on the early church – beginning with PeterWe are thrilled that our Sunday School numbers have grown!  As such, we are looking for new Sunday School teachers.  If you feel a gentle pull (or a strong one) to working with young people, please speak with Lisa or Marcel.  We will pair you with another teacher and provide you with training.  It is a very rewarding way to help out a growing and thriving ministry. Come see be a part of it!
Our Photo Directory time slots are nearly full.  If you are having a hard time finding an available spot, please reach out to Lisa (call the church office or email).  Lisa will be available after church this Sunday to sign anyone else up.  The deadline to sign up is Sunday!
The AOTS Gift Cards are available to order this Sunday.  A reminder that you can purchase gift cards for groceries, gas, entertainment, department stores and more!  Your purchase of the gift cards helps to provide funds that directly support youth activities – such as the summer Vacation Bible Camp, Mustard Seed, Family retreat and much more!  Contact Rob Brownlee for more information and to place your order!

For the cost of a suggested $100 donation, members and friends of Trinity get a copy of this year’s mystery book with a brief informative reading guide and an invitation to one of our book parties.
