Trinity this week – Rally Back Sunday

Hello Trinity Friends!

Welcome back to worship this Sunday with our special Rally Back service – made even more special because we will be worshiping in the Fellowship Hall. During the service we will celebrate our Christian Education programs with a look back at this summer’s Vacation Bible Camp, we will covenant with our leaders and volunteers, and we will continue the celebration at our annual Church Family Picnic at Camp Tillicum in the afternoon.

A reminder that roofing work is in full swing at Trinity, but nearing completion. This Sunday we will move our worship to the Fellowship Hall. Please use the McIntyre Street entrance when you arrive for church on Sunday.

There are a number of important announcements and upcoming events I would like to draw your attention to. Please read through them here and in your Sunday bulletin.

The Junior Choir, directed by Laura Farris and accompanied by Chris Mogan, resumes rehearsal this Sunday September 8th in the Choir Room at 9:30 am. All young people who like to sing will be warmly welcomed. For more information speak with Laura – contact the church office for her contact information.

All are invited to join us for our annual Rally Back Picnic on the shores of Lake Nipissing at Camp Tillicum (directions are available in your bulletin or by request). We gather from 3 until 6:30 ish for games, fellowship, a potluck meal and an evening vespers. Sandwich meat and buns (with fixings) and icecream bars will be available – please bring a potluck appetizer or side dish to share, along with your plate and cutlery. All are welcome – friends and family!

AOTS (Men’s group)
The AOTS will be meeting at Burgerworld on Hammond this Saturday at 8 am and then at Trinity for a business meeting at 9 am. All men are welcome.

  • A reminder that the AOTS Men’s Retreat is coming up on Friday September 13th to Saturday September 14th at Spirit Point. All men are invited to enjoy Christian fellowship, music and worship. See your bulletin for more information!
