Trinity this week – February 6, 2022

Hello Trinity Friends,
We are excited to welcome you back to in person worship this Sunday at 10:30 am! This Sunday we continue on the theme of “Call”.  A reminder that you must show proof of vaccine (double or boosted), wear a mask and follow physical distancing measures.  We are able to worship at half capacity now, so there is more room to welcome you.  Sunday School and Fellowship time are on hold for the time being.  For those of you who are more comfortable joining us for worship from home, the services will continue to be livestreamed here on Trinity’s YouTube Channel and will air a week later on Cogeco’s YourTV (Channel 12/700HD).

Please remember that should you need to come to the Church offices for any reason, to be sure to call us first.  Staff continue to work from home as they are able and have limited office hours.

Snowblower Needed Do you have a gently used snowblower that you do not use anymore?  If so, Trinity is in need of a new one. The trusty old snowblower that we currently have is ready for retirement.  If you have one that you would be willing to donate please contact Bob Cook, Building and Grounds Chair or the Church office.

Water Damage
Some of you may have heard that due to the extreme cold weather and a furnace failure, we had some frozen pipes that burst in Rev. Ted’s office. The matter was handled quickly thanks to Bob Cook, Kirk Elliott and team, who worked around the clock helping to minimize the damage. If you’d like to make a donation to help with these extra repair costs please send in a cheque or etransfer to the church.  Your support is always appreciated – especially with these unexpected challenges.

Scrap Metal Fundraiser
The Scouts/Venturers are picking up scrap metal throughout the year until June. If you have any scrap metal they will accept almost everything made of metal, including appliances, but not refrigerators. Contact info can be obtained by calling the church office.

Save the Date! March 6th is the date for our Annual Congregational Meeting and the first Sunday in Lent.  We celebrate with Communion and the start of the Musical Blues Lent season. Members of the Board, Committees and Groups – a reminder that your Annual Report items are due Sunday February 13th to Ross.  Call the church office for his updated email address.
