It has been a busy week getting ready for next week’s Vacation Bible Camp.  We have almost 60 children registered.  Thank-you to all the many people who help make this week a success.  If you are baking cookies, cupcakes or muffins, please bring them in to the kitchen and label them VBC.  Thanks 🙂
This Sunday we welcome friends from St. Andrew’s and other communities who are visiting with us.  As always, Sunday School continues  during the summer.  The nursery is unstaffed but is available for your use.

Trinity this week – August 3, 2018

Happy Summer Trinity Friends!
We are happy to welcome you back to worship at Trinity this Sunday August 5th at 10:30 am.  We hope you have had a wonderful summer so far and that you have found some time for rest and renewal.  During our summer worship services we are happy to extend a warm welcome to our friends from St. Andrew’s United Church, just as they extended a warm welcome to us in July!

Please note that Ferguson street is closed to vehicle traffic.  It is possible that the sidewalk may be closed as well – if that is the case, please enter through the McIntyre street entrance.

While Trinity was closed for July, the men’s washroom has been under renovation.  It is not quite finished yet so the washroom in the nursery is available for use. The nursery is unavailable this week due to the renovation.  Please make sure that no children are left unattended in the nursery area due to safety concerns.
Trinity’s Vacation Bible Camp is completely full!  Trinity will be a very busy place the week of August 13 – 17th!  We are really excited about the activities we have planned.  With well over 50 campers plus helpers, we may need a little extra food.  If you are able to bake (nut free) mini muffins, cookies or full sized un-frosted cupcakes we would be very grateful!  They can be dropped off to Trinity next week between 9 and 1.  Thank-you!
A reminder about some upcoming events and activities
The Fall newsletter submission deadline is Sunday August 12th.  Please send all your items to Ross Brewer at norros@bell.net
The 2nd Annual Trinity Family Camp Weekend is scheduled for August 17th – 19th.  All are welcome.  Bring your own tent and food and join your Trinity friends for a fantastic weekend at Lake Bernard Camp.  The park is celebrating Hallowe’en – so kids, bring your costumes!  $27/night per family.  For more information email Carling at carlinglutecki@hotmail.ca
