Bravo Mustard Seed!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Mustard Seed’s Ultimate Superstar on a fantastic run! Special thanks to Darlene Laferriere for her commitment and dedication to children’s music and drama – she is truly a superstar!  Thanks also to Brenda McLay for her wonderful music leadership, to Jim Liddell for his patient and flexible stage managing, to Caroline Harrison for her creative knack of making everyone look like a star and to Hannah McCallum for choreographing and leading all the amazing dances. Trinity – First week in March

Mustard Seed Theatre – Tonight and Tomorrow!
The cast and crew of Mustard Seed have been hard at work getting prepared for Ultimate Superstar – a lively and upbeat one act musical! Please plan to support the efforts of these 14 young people by attending one of the shows – Friday February 28th and Saturday March 1st at 7pm. Why not make it dinner and a show and come out for the Friends of Camp Caritou Pasta Dinner at 5 and then head upstairs for Ultimate Superstar!
 
Transfiguration Sunday – 10:30 am Worship – This Sunday, March 2nd
 
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper – Tuesday March 4th  5 – 6:30 pm
Pancakes, maple syrup, sausage and beverages.  $8 adults, $4 under 12 or $20 per family  – All proceeds to support the AOTS work with youth.
 
World Day of Prayer – Friday March 7th at 7 pm  Trinity United Church
 
Lent 1 Worship Service – Sunday March 9th  10:30 am.  We begin our Blues Lent with special guest singers.  Lunch will follow.

World Day of Prayer – March 7th – Trinity United Church

On Friday March 7th, the women of Egypt invite you to join with them in the World Day of Prayer celebration, praying under the theme, “Streams in the Desert”. 

Christians in more than 170 countries around the world and 2, 000 communities in Canada will gather on the World Day of Prayer to pray and act in solidarity with the people of Egypt.  

Join us on Friday March 7th at 7 pm in the Trinity United Church Sanctuary.  Join us following the service for refreshments and fellowship in the Sunday School Hall.

I-DYG go Bowling! Sunday February 23rd.

The next Inter-Denominational Youth Group (I-DYG) event is bowling.  We will meet at Calvin Presbyterian Church at 1pm for snacks and check-in and then head over to Partner’s Bowling Alley for 2:30.  Cost is $5   All are welcome.  Please let us know if you are planning on attending.  RSVP to Lisa at blais.trinityatgmail.com  See poster for more information.
