    Trinity Families will be attending the Pumpkin Patch (Leisure Farms) this Saturday at 10:30 am (weather permitting) for tractor rides, hot chocolate and marshmallows, corn mazes, pumpkin decorating and more.  All are welcome!

    Sunday October 21st     Heartbeat Barbershop Quartet will be adding their musical flavour to our worship service.  Lunch will follow the service - Free will offering with proceeds to go towards our Fire Safety Upgrades.

    Monday October 22nd - Communion Service at Empire Living 10:30 am
    Tuesday October 23rd -  Communion Service at Barclay House 10:30 am

    Sunday October 28th     You are welcome and encouraged to wear your costumes or festive flare for church

    Youth in grade 7 and up are invited to the North Bay Presbytery Youth Confirmation Exploration Retreat. This is sure to be an amazing weekend of spiritual nurture, nature and fun!     Nursery Caregiver Needed
    Ashley Elliot has been providing wonderful childcare in our nursery and will continue to do so when able, however, is unable to commit each Sunday. Therefore, we are looking for someone who would be able to offer childcare in our nursery on a rotational or regular basis.  The job would involve caring for children from birth to 3 years old in our nursery on Sunday mornings from 10:15 am until 11:45 am.  Childcare experience preferred.  Please note that this job requires completion of a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference check.     Trinity's Family Social Group has a new name....Trinity Families!

    We are a group of Trinity families committed to having fun with and without our kids. We get together for family outings in the North Bay area, and sometimes we get sitters and stay up late doing things that would bore the kids.  We have a couple of events planned.  For more information ask to join our facebook group "Trinity Families" or ask to be added to our email list.



    Volunteers are needed! 
    The 1st North Bay Scouts, which has met at Trinity for many years, is in need of leaders for Scouts and Ventures.  Please prayerfully consider offering support to this valuable program.  For more information please contact Bill Brownlee at (705)472-3226

    18th November is AOTS Sunday come and hear us sing.


    Our Trinity group gathers at Burger World for a breakfast followed by a meeting at Trinity to listen to a special speaker, or to plan our assistance needs for activities that are taking place at our Church. If you are new to Trinity, or your schedule has changed that you now have time at 8 o-clock AM, on the first Saturday of the month, we would be pleased to see you at our meetings. If the first weekend is a long weekend, then we move to the following weekend.

    Tuesday Morning Coffee Group

    Welcome friends! We are looking forward to another exciting year beginning with our Potluck welcome on Tuesday, September 11 th. We are a friendly and welcoming group of women of all ages who meet on Tuesday mornings (9:30 – 11:30) throughout the school year. The program varies from week to week and covers such topics as cooking, crafts, environmental issues, child development, health and nutrition, special speakers and more! Childcare is provided in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. All women are welcome to attend on an occasional or regular basis.     Kindred Spirits

    We welcome women to join us for an informal evening of fun and fellowship on the last Monday of every other month at 6:30. We are a welcoming group whose purpose is to provide a way for women to get to know one another. The program topic is varied and changes to adapt to the interests of the group. Our first meeting of the season in on Monday, September 24 th and is a Pizza Social. Look for more information about upcoming meetings in the bulletin. For more information you may call:

    At Trinity youth are actively involved in a number of ways. Please look for information about upcoming activities and events in the bulletin or ask to be added to the youth group email list. For more information contact Lisa @ trinity.associate@cogeco.net or call the church office.

    Youth Group

    For youth in Grade 7 and up. We meet throughout the year for activities, service projects, worship opportunities and fun. Look for information about our first meeting of the year in an upcoming bulletin.

    Young Adult Group

    For young adults in Grade 12 and up. We meet periodically throughout the year for community building, service work, theological study and fun!

     

    The Mustard Seed Players

    For young people who are interested in theatre. We welcome actors, singers, dancers, stage hands, musicians, those interested in lighting, sound, props or costumes to join our troupe anytime. We have presented Godspell, Creation, Cotton Patch Gospel, Garden Varieties and Free to Be… We are eagerly anticipating a new production with more information to follow later this fall.     Please remember to keep your Swiss Chalet reciepts and deposit them in the box outside the office - this is a fundraiser for the church.

    Groups at Trinity
    At Trinity , many groups and act i vities occur throughout the year . New members and visitors are alwa y s welcome to join in on an occasional or regular basis.     na r the x (the lobby wher e you may have come into church this morning).

    Trinity Choir:
    Trinity Choir offers a warm and enthusiastic welcome to all those who love to sing . Choir rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:15 p.m. - 9:00 p.m . For mo r e information, please contact Betty Farris at (705)497-0499. Choir rehearsals will resume on Thursday January 12th.

    Junior Choir:
    Trinity Junior Choi r is fo r children in Senior Kindergarten and older . Rehearsals are Sunday mornings in the sanctuary from 9 : 15 - 9:50 am. We have fun singing a variety of music styles, and always welcome new members. Come, and bring a friend . For more information , call Betty Farris (705)497-0499.     A.O. T.S. (As One That Serves):
    Trinity ' s AOTS men ' s group usually meets the first Saturd a y of the month. They me e t at Burgerworld on Hammond for breakfa s t at 8 am followed by a business meeting at Trinity United Church .

    For fellowship, service and personal growth , join us on the 2nd Monday of each month at 1 P.M. All women of the United Church are au tomatically members of this group and are invited

    Nursery:
    Preschool and infant children are cared for in our nursery by a paid caregiver. The nursery is located on the ground floor across from the washrooms and is available from 10:20 until the end of service . Our nursery is a cozy, safe and fun place for children to spend time in , while their parents, grandparents or caregivers attend worship service. All those who volunteer or work with children must submit a vulnerable sector police
    screening.

    Sunday School:
    Following Children ' s Time with Rev. Ted , the children are invited downstairs for Sunday School . Each week children experience God's story through games , cooking , crafts, drama, music and more! There are three Sunday School classes : 3 years up to Senior Kindergarten; Grades 1 -3 and G r ades 4 - 8.

    Youth and Young Adults:
    Trinity also has two groups for youth and young adults. The youth group is for young people in grade 7 through to highschool and the Young Adult group is for those in grades 12 and up .
