The inspiration for the vigil is
from the gospels of Mark and
Matthew, when, in the Garden
of Gethsemane, Jesus
asks the sleeping
disciples,
‘Could you not watch one
hour?” (Mk 14:38)
Throughout the night we will
be holding hourly prayer sessions
and meditations, participating
in prayer stations,
quiet games, etc.
