Trinity’s New Year Greeting and news

Hello Trinity Friends and Happy New Year,
We are awaiting information from the province regarding the lockdown to determine if we will be open for in person worship this upcoming Sunday. At the moment, we plan to be open with Covid safety measures in place. We will keep you posted if there are any changes. We continue to offer a live-streamed service Sunday mornings at 10:30 am.  This is also made available for viewing anytime afterwards. You can click on this link to access all our worship services Trinity’s YouTube Channel
As we await the vaccine and a time when it is safe to resume regular activities, we know that some of you may be experiencing some challenges with pandemic fatigue, loneliness, etc.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if there is anything we can do to help.  A reminder that you will find information and resources posted on our website for you to use – resources for Spirituality, mental health, activities to do with families, and more!
Many of you have already learned the sad news of longtime Trinity member, Doris-Rae Brownlee’s death on December 23rd.  Doris-Rae was a devoted member of our Trinity family who served on the Church Board for many years – most recently as Board Secretary.  She was a very active member of the UCW and was a great supporter of our Monday Morning Food Shelf. She will be greatly missed by many of us at Trinity and the wider church community.  Our hearts and prayers are with her husband Bill, Daughters Bonnie Rae (husband Grant) and Tammy, Grandson Douglas, Sister-in-law Janice and the Brownlee and Simms families.  Doris-Rae’s Obituary can be found here
The work in Rev. Ted’s and my (Lisa’s) office has been completed and we look forward to moving back in after several months of being without an office!  Thanks to those involved in getting the work done so your staff can be safe!
On behalf of all of the staff – thank you all for your cards, gifts, and well wishes over the Christmas season.  We are so fortunate to have a caring and supportive church family!Wishing you many blessings, good health and happiness in the year to come!
