Trinity Weekly Update – May 6, 2016

Hello Trinity Friends,

This Mother’s Day Sunday, the Mustard Seed Cast will be sharing a song from their upcoming musical “The Sailor’s Bible” .  The song will feature some of the many knitted animal hats that members of the congregation made for our musical.

Talents and Services Silent Auction

This Silent Auction is being run by your “4 Trinity” fund raising committee. All funds raised are for Trinity’s general funds so will help with everything from the maintenance of our great, but old, church to Mission & Services.  Bidding will be open until May 29th.  So bid often! Take a look at the Board in the Fellowship Hall (Sunday School Hall) – there are some pretty great things to bid on already – more to come!

Do you have something you can donate?  Here are some ideas:

* baked goods ( a dozen cookies every week for…., a pie a month, a dozen butter tarts, a loaf of bread a week for…

* a home prepared “takeout” meal for a busy family

* perhaps a youth might offer an evening of babysitting 

* yard raking/mowing

* Dog walking

* a handyman/woman

* music lessons

* golf lessons

* Christmas wrapping

If you would like to offer something for the auction, please email Barb Roberts at brobertsnb@gmail.com or speak with someone from the 4 Trinity group this Sunday.

Important Announcement:  Please note that the Board will be meeting on Tuesday May 24th at 7 pm.  This is a change in date.  All items for the agenda must be in to Kirk Ready by Tuesday May 17th. 

Mustard Seed’s musical “The Sailor’s Bible” is being performed on Saturday May 14th at 7 pm and Sunday May 15th at 1:30.  Tickets are available from Roxanne after church or from the church office.  Please come and support the hard work of these talented 17 young performers!  Tickets are $10 Adults and $5 children (12 and under).  Ushers are needed for both performances.  If interested in volunteering, please sign up in the Fellowship Hall.

Hope2Kenya is holding a pasta dinner on Saturday May 14th from 5 – 6:30 at Trinity.  Why not come out for pasta and stay for the Mustard Seed show? 

Trinity’s Vacation Bible Camp registration is now open!  Registration packages are available on the table outside the office and on the website.
