Trinity Weekly Update – Advent Joy – Pageant and Potluck!

Hello Trinity friends,

This Sunday we light the advent candle of Joy.  Our candle lighters represent the JOY Bands, the Joyful Bells, and our Junior and Senior Choirs who bring us joy all year round. The Sunday School are very excited to present to you Manger Tales: a heartwarming and funny retelling of the birth of Christ as told by the animals.  Following the pageant, there will be a potluck lunch

Please bring your cold potluck items to the Kitchen or Fellowship Hall before worship on Sunday morning.

An Advent Bible Study with Rev. Kathy, will take place in the Fireside room from 12 – 1…feel free to bring your plate into the fireside room.

The JOY Band and JOY Band “Too” are presenting their Christmas Concert “Sweet Sounds of Christmas” at 2 pm in the Sanctuary.  A Carol sing-a-long will begin at 1:30.  Admission is by free will offering.  All proceeds to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice and Trinity’s Infant Food Shelf.

AOTS GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER

The last Gift Card opportunity before Christmas is: TODAY

Buying gift cards puts a smile on your face twice.  Initially, you are able to give a gift to that person who you find hard to buy for. Also, remember, since we can get gift cards to be used at your favourite grocery store, it allows you to get your Christmas turkey.  Secondly, it allows you to smile when a youth program is supported financially with funds gained by the AOTS Gift Card Fundraising program. Orders along with cash or cheques are accepted with a smile and Thank you.
