THE TRINITY TESTOSTRONE

The annual Men’s “Trinity Testosterone” canoe trip tradition will take place between the evening of Friday June 26th through to the evening of Sunday June 28th. The sign-up list is posted in the Sunday School Hall.  After church Sunday May 31st we’ll gather at Trinity to plan our route and various logistics.

TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION WALK
This Sunday (May 31st) folk are invited to gather at St. Andrew’s United Church at 1:30 pm for a short worship gathering, followed by a walk down Main Street West to the Residential school Memorial on Nipissing Number 10. We are honoured to have the support and cooperation of Chief Marianna Couchie and the people of Nipissing First Nation for the walk. The total distance (one way) is 5.2 kilometres. There will be vehicles waiting at the other end of the walk to ferry people back to St. Andrew’s once our time at the memorial concludes.

AOTS Gift Cards

A reminder to get your gift cards for your summer.  Cards for groceries, gas, restaurants, home improvement, coffee, movies and more can be purchased. (They make great teacher gifts) to support the AOTS work with youth. The next Gift Card order date is Sunday June 7th. Bill Brownlee will be collecting the orders while Ed Rose is away.  Please continue to support this wonderful ministry.

Mustard Seed

Tickets are now available for the show from Doris-Rae Brownlee or from the church office. There are two shows only: Saturday June 13th at 7 pm and Sunday June 14th at 1:30 pm.  The Joyful Bells will be providing a dessert reception following Saturday’s performance.

If you are able to help with ushering or operating the lift for either of those performances there is a sign-up sheet posted in the Sunday School room.  Also, if any strong people are willing to help out after church this Sunday – we will need to move in some set pieces into the sanctuary before the 12:30 Mustard Seed Rehearsal.  Thank-you for your help!
