Hello Trinity Friends!
It is hard to believe that Trinity’s summer holidays are almost upon us! As this will be the last weekly update until August there are a few announcements and events that we would like to share.
This Sunday we celebrate our Sunday School Teachers and Volunteers with a special service. We are excited to debut the “Joyful Bells” – Trinity’s very own bell choir! Following the service all are invited downstairs for hotdogs and cake.
Trinity will be closed following the worship service this Sunday. We will resume worship at Trinity on Sunday July 27th. During our summer closure all are welcome to worship with the good folk at St. Andrew’s United Church (or any other faith community of your choice). For Pastoral Care emergencies please contact Rev. Summer Events
Pasta Dinner Fundraiser – Friday June 20th at 5:30 pm – Trinity United Church
Mary Sherwood (Sirrs) will be sharing her many experiences as a missionary in the Solomon Islands and Madagascar. Tickets will be available at the door. $10 per person and will go towards supporting the Mary’s Mission in Madagascar (an orphanage and centre for Mothers and Children)
Trinity’s Social Club Annual Pool Party – Saturday June 21st, 5 pm
The Social Club are winding up for the summer with their annual pool party at the Cooney’s home. Bring your own protein to bbq as well as a dessert or salad and plates & utensils.
I-DYG – BBQ Social – Sunday June 22nd 1pm – 3 pm
The Inter-denominational youth group will be meeting at St. Andrew’s for a bbq, games and some gardening. All youth (going into) grade 7 and up are welcome to come! You are welcome to bring an appetizer or salad – and please wear clothes that will be appropriate for a little gardening work.
Trinity’s Vacation Bible Camp – August 18 – 22nd
