Hello Trinity Friends,
This Sunday we will join with our local United Church friends in worshipping together at Emmanuel United Church at 11 am. Trinity will be closed this Sunday – but if you forget, you will still have time to get to Emmanuel since their worship starts at 11!
Children who are in the Sunday School pageant will NOT have a rehearsal this Sunday but are encouraged to practice their lines and the Christmas Carols at home so they will be ready for rehearsal on November 30th. Scripts were emailed out last week.
On behalf of the Trinity Congregation and Staff, we would like to offer our heartfelt condolences to our Treasurer, Michelina Beam (and family), on the recent death of her Father, Giacinto Castrilli (November 5, 2025). And my humble apologies for not letting people know in my last week’s email.

Voting on the 5 building options is open until the end of the month. Ballots can be picked up from the church office or an online submission can be requested if you are not able to come into the office. One vote per person!

The Cookie Walk takes place on Saturday November 29th from 9:30 am to 11:30 am in Trinity’s Fellowship Hall (enter through the McIntyre Street entrance). Come pick out all your favourite cookies for the holiday season! All funds go towards Trinity’s general fund. Cash only!
Cookie bakers – please be sure to drop off your cookies on Friday November 28th between 9 am and noon.
The Rapport Singers present their Christmas concert “Follow Your Star” at Powassan United Church on Saturday Nov. 29th at Powassan United Church at 2pm, and at Trinity United Church on Sunday. Nov. 30th, at 1:30 pm. Tickets $20 at the door, or at the Trinity Church office.
TRINITY’S CHRISTMAS GIFT BAG OUTREACH
Each year Trinity’s youth group collects items for the Christmas Bag Outreach Project. We provide over 150 Christmas gifts to teens and adults in our community! If you would like to contribute to this outreach program please bring in your donations to Trinity on White Gift Sunday (December 7th) or anytime before Friday Dec. 12th. Items, Money and Christmas bags to pack gifts are always appreciated! See the full list of needed items outside the office or in the fellowship hall. Speak with Lisa for more information.

A gentle evening of reflection and quiet beauty
As the year turns toward winter, we gather for a peaceful hour of music,
poetry, and stillness. Together we’ll pause to notice the small gifts that have
sustained us — moments of kindness, joy, learning, and resilience. This
secular Evensong invites us to slow down, breathe deeply, and rest in a
spirit of gratitude and grace. All are welcome to come, listen, and simply
be.

- Sunday December 7th – White Gift Sunday: Bring your gifts or cash donations for the Christmas Gift Bag Outreach and stay for the JOY Band afternoon Christmas concert (1:30pm Sing-a-Long, 2pm Concert)
- Friday December 12 – “CHRISTMAS, A HUMBUG?”:Dickens’ A Christmas Carol featuring celebrity readers and music by CHAZZ – fundraiser for the Gathering Place – tickets $25 available at the door or at Trinity’s office
- Sunday December 14th: The Trinity Sunday School Pageant during 10:30 am worship
- Sunday December 21st: Choir Cantata, “Rhapsody in Bluegrass” (1pm Sing-a-Long, 1:30 Cantata)
- Monday Dec 22nd– Our shared “Longest Night” evening service at 7pm at Trinity!
