Trinity this week – Third Sunday in Lent – Saint Patrick Sunday

Hello Trinity Friends,
This Sunday at 10:30 am we continue our journey through Lent and celebrate St. Patrick’s day with some special music.  Our “Lenten Blues” musicians are John Powers and Joanna Miles and the McCallum Clan share a beloved hymn in English and Irish. A reminder that if you are not able to join us in person, you are welcome to join us on YouTube here Trinity’s Channel or watch us the following Sunday on Cogeco’s YourTV.

Last week I shared the news of the death of Trinity member Helen Whitehead.  The funeral will take place at Trinity United Church this Saturday at 11 am.  For those who are unable to attend, it will be livestreamed to our YouTube channel.  Visitation will be at Hillside Funeral Home Friday, March 18, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m

Broadview Subscriptions Do you normally receive the Broadview Magazine and wondered why it has not arrived in your mailbox?  Apparently there was an error at Broadview Magazine which is now being corrected. You should receive your magazine soon-ish! It is disappointing that we did not receive last month’s issue – which had a wonderful contribution by Trinity member, Rod Carley.  If you’d like to check out this excellent article you will find it here Sneak Peak at Heaven
Trinity purchases subscriptions on behalf of many of our members. If you would like to receive this excellent magazine subscription or if you would like to contribute to the cost of the subscription (around $25 a year) you are invited to send in a cash/cheque clearly labeled Broadview subscription and we will be sure to get the magazine delivered to you!

Trinity Families invites you to a day at the Mogan Family Sugar Shack!

Saturday March 26th from 2 – 4 pm

All are welcome to come out for an afternoon of fun. There will be a few games and horseshoes and there is a walking trail.  Chris will lead people through the process of making the syrup (including gathering sap) and will make maple taffy. There is no rain date so people are encouraged to dress appropriately. It is a picnic style event so people are invited to bring out their own food and drinks.
For more information contact Marcel MacDonald, Lisa Blais or Chris Mogan.
