Hello Trinity Friends,
This Sunday we commemorate Orange Shirt Day – you are encouraged to wear Orange to honour those children and families affected by residential schools and the ongoing effects on Indigenous peoples.
This Sunday is Saint Francis Sunday, and we invite you to bring your friendly live pets, an animal memento, a photo, or a beloved “stuffie” to church for a special pet blessing!
In the spirit of celebrating our animal companions, we are delighted to welcome Rod Carley, who will be sharing The Great Catsby, the purr-fect literary debut from his cat, Hilton! Some may remember getting a sneak peak of Hilton’s clever Cataptation of The Great Gatsby a few years ago. Please plan to join us for a “Cat’s Meow” luncheon hosted by the UCW, then head upstairs to the Sanctuary at 1 pm. Rod will be joined in conversation with Kelsey Ruhl to share stories and excerpts from The Great Catsby—and word has it that Hilton himself will be tuning in via video!

Trinity’s Apple Pie Project is a major fundraiser for our church. We rely on this fundraiser each year but we need YOUR help. Please consider volunteering.– The coffee is on with snacks galore for when we need a break. There are seated jobs and standing jobs- something for everyone experience or new to pie making. Don’t feel obliged to stay for the whole time period. If you can only volunteer an hour or two, that is also appreciated, and yes! you can bring our own apron. With your help, this will once again be a successful fundraising event full of fun!

Offices Closed Wednesday September 30 – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Trinity’s offices will be closed in observation of this very important day. You are encouraged to wear your orange shirt and find a way to honour the children and families affected by Residential Schools.
Trinity Youth Confirmation Retreat Weekend – Saturday October 24 – 26th at Camp Norland. Any youth in Grade 7 through to Highschool are invited. Registration forms are available outside the main office. Cost to attend is $25 and includes all Food and supplies. Register with Lisa by Thanksgiving weekend.
