Hello Trinity Friends,
This (and every) Sunday you are invited to join us in worship in person at 10:30 am or on our YouTube channel at your convenience! Rev. Ted’s meditation is titled:
“Love, Prayers, and Refrigerators” – I have an idea of where he might be going with that, do you? Tune in Sunday to find out!In Sunday School the children have started a unit on “Tell me the Stories of Jesus” – this week’s story: The Lost Sheep.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new neighbours from the Sikh community who recently purchased the old Salvation Army building across the street to open up a Gurudwara! (A Gurudwara is a place of worship and gathering for Sikh people – although just like our church, most Gurudwaras welcome people from all faiths to visit)
As we move into a busy fall, there are a number of events and activities happening at Trinity and in our wider Church community. Mark these dates in your calendar and join us if you are able!
SAINT FRANCIS SUNDAY – SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 28
Next Sunday you are welcome to bring in your furry family members (or a memento or photo of your beloved animal friend) or a favourite “stuffie” for a special blessing!

On this same day, we also want to honour Orange Shirt Day. You are invited to wear your Orange Shirts as a reminder that “every child matters”.
September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Trinity’s offices will be closed that day. We encourage you to take an action or participate in a way that honours the children (and the inter-generational survivors) who were adversely impacted or died in residential schools. A local event happens at the Kiwanis Band Shelter at 11 am beginning with a march from Lee Park at 10 am. All are welcome!
Apple Pie Time is upon us and we need a lot of help to ensure this fundraiser is successful – and many hands lighten the load! All ages welcome!
