Trinity this week – September 14th, 2018

Hello Trinity Friends,
This is looking to be a wonderful weekend for the AOTS men’s retreat at Spirit Point!
This Sunday join us for worship at 10:30 am.  Rev. Ted’s meditation is titled “The Face of God We Forgot”.  In Sunday School we begin our Sunday School year on the theme “Following in Jesus’ Footsteps”.
Some Announcements!

Important: The Board meeting has been changed to Tuesday September 25th at 7 pm.

The UCW will be meeting on Monday September 17th at 1 pm.  This is a change in date as well!  Guest Speaker is Darlene Laferriere.
The Sunday School is in need of pop can tabs – if you have any please bring them this or next Sunday.  Thank-you!  We are also in need of one or two people who would be willing to share their gifts in Sunday School as a teacher.  The lesson is fully prepared for you and can be geared towards your abilities/interests – crafts, cooking, games, storytelling or whatever your special talent is. Please speak with Lisa Blais, Carling Lutecki or Marcel MacDonald for more information on how to join the fun!
The Eve of Yom Kippur at Sons of Jacob Synagogue
On Tuesday Sept 18 at 7pm — Join members of North Bay’s Jewish community for an Erev Yom Kippur service led by Dr. Larry Hoffman, featuring “The Near North Voices” choir led by Dr. Adam Adler. All are welcome to attend, and to learn more about this highest of Jewish holidays. The synagogue is located at 302 McIntyre St W, across from St. Andrew’s UC.
A reminder that it is apple pie time – get your orders in now to avoid disappointment.  Pies will be ready for pick-up October 1st – 5th.
Don’t forget that this Sunday is the Mustard Seed information session for all youth in grade 8 and up who are interested in being a part of this lively and engaging musical theatre production – Cotton Patch Gospel.  Meet in Trinity’s sanctuary at 12:30 this Sunday September 16th.
Hope to see you Sunday!
