Happy Friday Trinity Friends,

This Sunday November 8th is Remembrance Sunday. There will be a special Remembrance ceremony during our worship service. We will be joined by The J.O.Y. Band who will enhance our service. Our Piper is Bob Cook and our Guest Trumpet is Janice Herzog.

This Saturday November 7th, 7 pm.  East Coaster Studios in partnership with Trinity Arts presents: International indie artist, Skrizzly Adams along with Sudbury’s own Josh Odair–Tickets are only $20 for this intimate show held in our fellowship hall  Ticket link

Next weekend we officially move into the Christmas Season!

This begins with the UCW Christmas Craft and Bake Sale on Saturday November 14th from 1 – 3 pm.  Please note that there is no tea as in previous years, although luncheon plates will be available for you to enjoy.

On Sunday November 15th, during Sunday School, Darlene will be starting rehearsals for the Sunday School Christmas Pageant.  There are parts for everyone!

After our Sunday Service plan to stay for a front row seat for the Santa Claus Parade which passes right past our Ferguson doors.  The Christian Education Committee will be hosting a hotdog lunch and serving Hot Chocolate during the parade.

A note from the UCW about the Christmas Bazaar:  This year, we are not calling people for sandwiches or baking for the tea room.  However we WOULD appreciate donations of baking for the bake table.

Last week the Compassionate Committee hosted a special event called What You Need to Know About Helping People Who are Unhoused.  It was a very informative and engaging presentation.  If you missed attending but are interested in watching the recording, you can find it on Trinity’s YouTube Channel under the Trinity Extras Tab or click on this link Information Session

The Compassionate Committee’s Winter Boot Campaign takes place this Saturday November 7th from 10 am to 2 pm at the garages across from Pro Cathedral. Donations of warm winter socks, hats, mitts and cash donations to purchase winter boots are gratefully received.
