This Sunday we celebrate Pentecost Sunday. You are encouraged to wear red (or other fiery colours). Our worship begins at 10:30 am. Following the service, you are welcome to join us for a brief time of coffee and fellowship.
Reminders:
- The Trinity Membership group will be meeting in the Fireside Room at noon
- Mustard Seed will rehearse in the Fellowship Hall at noon
- The Trinity Youth Group will meet at 1:30 in the Fireside Room (immediately following the Membership Class)
Trinity Family News: On behalf of the congregation, we extend our prayers and sympathies to Anne and Richard Smith and family on the death of Anne’s Brother-in-law, Ashok Newton in Michigan last week.
Hannah and Nathan’s “Love and Labour” album release tonight – Friday, May 22, 7:30 pm
Hannah Shira Naiman and Nathan Smith are award-winning Ontario folk musicians known for their airtight vocal harmonies and masterful instrumentation. The Tuesday Morning Coffee Group is celebrating their 50th Anniversary on Tuesday May 26th from 9:30 – 11:30 am. Join us as we celebrate – sharing memories, food, coffee, food and laughter on Tuesday May 26th from 9:30 – 11:30 am. All are welcome—bring a friend, bring a memory, and help us toast to 50 more years of community.
Next Sunday, May 31st at 11 am, Trinity will be closed for worship as we join with other area United Churches in our Fifth Sunday Worship at Emmanuel United Church (395 Lakeshore). The Trinity Youth Group will lead a spirit-filled, followed by a delicious lunch provided by Emmanuel.
For the Kids: While there is no formal nursery care or Sunday School, there will be a dedicated Children’s Corner with fun activities right inside the sanctuary.
Parking Update: Since Water’s Edge is no longer operating, you can use their old parking lot. This means you likely won’t have to park across the street at Metro!
