Trinity this week – Lent 3

Hello Trinity Friends,This message comes to you a day early in anticipation of tomorrow Red Hot Friday Chili Night!  The music begins at 5 and the Chili will be served at 5:30.  A narrated (by Rod Carley) special musical performance of the British Invasion will take place at 7.  An important note – there will be a film shoot happening on McIntyre street – you will need to park at Oak street or along Ferguson or another street as McIntyre may be shut down for filming for part of the time.  You may be able to park at the Capitol Centre parking lot if it is not full.
For those of you who are planning on attending Trinity’s special group rate of the Crucible,  Rod will have tickets available at the Chili night.  The tickets are $15 each.
This Sunday is the third Sunday in Lent.  Join us as we prayerfully continue our journey through Lent.  Following the service, folk are invited to join us for “Trinity Rocks” curling event at  2pm at the Granite Club. $20 per person – all welcome.  Please speak with Lisa Blais or Maurice Laporte if you’d like to come!  No experience necessary!
Lenten offering envelopes will be available from your ushers this Sunday.  Your Lenten offering goes towards supporting the Food Shelf Ministries at Trinity – the Monday Morning Food Bank and the Infant Food Shelf.  Thank you for your continuing support!
Please do take a look at your bulletin to read about many more upcoming worship services and events.  There are also order forms for hams, hot cross buns and scones and soon – Easter Lilies.  If you are not able to attend church on Sunday, the bulletin is always posted here on the website under the worship tab.
Blessings on your weekend – hope to see you tomorrow at the Chili Night or Sunday for worship and curling!
