Hello Trinity Friends,
We hope you will join us this Sunday June 23rd at 10:30 am for our last worship before our July summer closure! In Sunday School the kids will celebrate their church family with games and fun activities.
A reminder that next Sunday is a fifth Sunday – all United Churches in North Bay are invited to worship at Emmanuel United Church on Sunday June 30th. Please note, their worship service is at 11 am! There will be a picnic style luncheon social following in the Hall or on the lawns as weather permits. You may use their chairs or bring your own lawn chair as able. Rev. Tracy Davis and Rev. Will Kunder will be our host ministers and John Henderson, our Music Director. As we boldly close the door of 4 local churches to unite for this shared Worship, we are experiencing “hope-filled communities united in deep spirituality, inspiring worship, and daring justice.” (Mission statement, 2021)
Summer Closure
Trinity offices will be closed from Tuesday June 25th to Tuesday July 30th. Our first Sunday worship will be on August 4th. This email address and our phone lines will be checked periodically while we are closed. For emergency Pastoral Care, please be in touch with St. Andrew’s United Church.
While Trinity is closed, we hope you will worship with other members of our faith family! St. Andrew’s United Church will welcome us to worship with them throughout July. Our summer students, Abbi and Andrew, will lead Sunday School lessons at St. Andrew’s. Our friends at St. Andrew’s are excited to be having Sunday School in their church again!
Several members of Trinity are lay leaders, and will be preaching at other congregations this summer. You are always welcome to join them too. John Sheridan invites you to “come and hear the Gospel by John” In Temiskaming on July 7th; 10AM. or in Nipissing and Restoule on July 21st; worship at Nipissing is at 9:15; and worship in Restoule is at 11:15 AM.
Have a wonderful start of the summer – see you in August!
