Trinity this week -June 18, 2023

Hello Trinity Friends,
This Sunday we welcome Rev. Lillian Roberts as our guest Minister while Rev. Ted is leading a group of adventurous men on the Trinity Testosterone Canoe Trip. In Sunday School the children will continue a rotation that celebrates Indigenous People in honour of Indigenous History Month.  They will learn about traditional medicines and have a chance to hear about Peacemaker and the Great Law of Peace.

Congratulations to Cassie and Doug Bott-Baxter on the birth of their daughter, Naomi Norah!  Jack is also thrilled to be a big brother too.

Registration for Trinity’s Vacation Bible Camp is filling up. If you know a child who would be interested in attending, please get the registration form in soon to avoid disappointment!  Trinity’s Vacation Bible Camp  I-Spy Mysteries of the Bible. takes place July 24 – 28th from 9:30 – 3:30 each day.  (Early drop off and late pick up is available for a small fee)
Children in Junior Kindergarten through to Grade 6. $75 per child – all snacks, materials and a camp shirt included. Music, Crafts, Baking, Games, Experiments and more! Registration is limited. INDIGENOUS PEOPLES HISTORY MONTH
June is Indigenous History Month. This is a month to celebrate the diverse and unique contributions that First Nations, Inuit and Metis people have had, and continue to have, in Canada and the world. From now until the first week of July, the Right Relations Team will be presenting you with a weekly themed newsletter, curated and assembled by the Right Relations Resource Team Summer Student, Hannah McCallum.  You can find copies of these on the Canadian Shield Regional Council website and on the Right Relations Facebook Page AND on the table outside the office.  Happy Reading!
