Hello Trinity Friends!
This Sunday will be exciting and energized! Our Mustard Seed performers will share one of their songs from this weekend’s Prodigal Clown Musical (see more about that below). We will also be formally welcoming several new members during worship. Immediately following worship there will be an important and informative congregational meeting regarding the next steps for our Building. Please plan to be present for this meeting.
Following the congregational meeting, please plan to come downstairs for lunch, sponsored by the UCW and then stay for the matinee performance of Mustard Seed’s Prodigal Clown.
An update about our Lift
We are hopeful that the part required to get our Lift operating will be arriving today and that the Lift will be operational on Sunday, however, at this time, we can NOT guarantee that! If you require the lift to get up to the Sanctuary, you may want to call us Sunday am before coming down to check the status of the lift. As always, our service (and congregational meeting) will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person.
Step Right Up! Mustard Seed Youth Presents “The Prodigal Clown” at Trinity United Church. Join the Parabalini Family Circus for a hilarious and heartwarming retelling of the Prodigal Son. Featuring a talented cast of 15 young performers, this is a story of unconditional love you won’t want to miss. Mustard Seed has long been dedicated to providing opportunities for youth to build community and express themselves through the arts. By setting this ancient story in the joyful chaos of a circus, director Darlene Laferriere allows these young performers to explore themes of forgiveness and grace in a way that is both accessible and entertaining for the entire community. You have two opportunities to see the show: Saturday June 13, 7 pm and Sunday June 14, 1:30 pm at Trinity. Tickets are $10 Adults $5 Children under 12 – available at the door! Please come out and show your support to these young performers!
Trinity’s Summer Vacation Bible Camp program is full! We anticipate a large group of more than 50 children and teen helpers this year. We need your help feeding them. If you are interested in helping out by making cookies, mini muffins, unfrosted cupcakes or helping out in the kitchen, please speak with Janice Brownlee, Marion Colquhoun or Lisa Blais. Donations of fresh fruit (melons, berries) and money are also welcome!
