By popular demand, “A Christmas Carol” is back! And after the fantastic success of our “Great Gatsby” collaboration, this year the story of Scrooge’s redemption has a jazzy twist! On Friday December 12th at 6:30pm the carol-singing begins. At 7pm, we dive into the Dickens’ classic! An all-star cast of gifted local readers is joined by the jazz stylings of “CHAZZ.” Wassail Bowl and Dickens Desserts to follow. Tickets are $25 and are available for purchase at the Trinity church office. Proceeds are for North Bay’s soup kitchen, “The Gathering Place.”
The Good Samaritan Corner
The Compassionate Committee for the Homeless in North Bay would like to thank the parishioners and congregants from the local churches, and the community of North Bay who supported this year’s Winter Boot Campaign. Because of your generosity we filled 8 trunks with hats, mitts, scarves, socks, and gloves, and we provided 105 pairs of new winter boots to the unhoused in North Bay.
The following frontline organizations will be able to support people experiencing homelessness because of your compassion: Cold Weather Response Program, AIDS Committee of North Bay, True Self, Catholic Charities, Open Arms Café, Children’s Aid Society, Operation Mercy Relief Street Ministry, and Tracy’s Heart and Hands.
