Trinity United Church North Bay

Happy Friday Trinity Friends,

This Sunday is the fifth Sunday in Lent.  Our Lenten Blues Musicians are Trinity’s favourite barbershop singers, HEARTBEAT. Immediately following the service you are encouraged to stay behind for Trinity’s Annual Congregational Meeting. We meet immediately following the service so you can get home in time for lunch!  Children will be supervised while the meeting is taking place.

An updated copy of the Annual Report and Agenda has been emailed out – the financial report has changed so please be sure to familiarize yourself with the updated information! If you need a copy please be in touch with the office.

The ACM will be livestreamed to YouTube for those unable to be here in person.

Trinity’s Coffee House returns on Friday, April 10th, and we need YOU to make it a night to remember! We are looking for two things to make the evening complete:
YOUR TALENT: Whether you sing, play an instrument, tell a joke, or have a hidden skill—our stage is open to a wide array of entertainers!
YOUR DESSERTS: We’re pairing our gourmet coffees with “deliciously decadent” treats. If you have a signature bake, we’d love to share it!
Sign-up sheets are ready in the Fellowship Hall or, email Lisa at: blais.trinity@gmail.com

Sponsorship of a refugee family – there is an opportunity for someone from Trinity to join with Anna Mary and some others in the community to form a Constituent Group. The role of the group would be to support the refugee application process since their family is providing the necessary funds.  After a Constituent Group has been identified then the application can be completed and proceed to the next level. Trinity has agreed to be the sponsor for the family. If the application is successful (which may take some time to find out), there may be a need to help ensure that the family’s  needs are being met in terms of settling but they currently have some family in North Bay. If this interests you please speak to Lisa or Ted.

The Compassionate Committee for the Homeless of North Bay is proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Bowl for Kids’ Sake 2026—their premier fun-raising event! This exciting event brings people together—friends, families, and coworkers—for a great time of bowling, all in support of life-changing mentoring programs for children and youth in our community. We invite you to join us in making a difference. Every donation helps empower young people to reach their full potential.
