Hello Trinity Friends,

I am sending out the weekly email a day ahead so that I can remind you all that tomorrow is our annual Coffee House evening! We have a number of great acts lined up – music, poetry readings, and skits! Our favourite house band, The Hosts will be kicking off the night beginning around 6:30, followed by a whole list of entertainers. The Hosts will close out our night as well! Doors will be open at 6:15…NOT before because we need time to set-up and do sound check, etc. Admission and coffee/desserts are by donation – all proceeds go towards the Raise the Roof fund! Dessert makers – please bring in your dessert (already cut) between 9 and 12 tomorrow or between 5:30 and 7 tomorrow eve

This Sunday, join us for Baden-Powell Sunday as we celebrate the Guiding and Scouting programs. All current and former people who have been in Scouts and Guides are encouraged to wear their uniforms! Children 10 and under will be invited downstairs for an activity led by Scouts and Guides leaders. Older children are encouraged to remain upstairs.

Following the worship service please plan to stay for the Annual Congregational Meeting. It will be completed by 1:30 pm so that those with symphony tickets can still attend. All people are welcome to come – lunch will be served. Nursery care is available.

A reminder also that next Tuesday February 25th is Shrove Tuesday. The AOTS are hosting a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. Pancakes, Sausages, and more will be served – all proceeds to help support the AOTS work with youth. $10 Adults, $5 children under 12, $25 Family

There will be an Ash Wednesday service at St. Andrew’s United Church at noon on Wednesday February 26th – all are welcome!

Friday February 29th is the UCW sponsored Cafeteria Style Luncheon. All are welcome for a budget friendly and delicious lunch of sandwiches, soups, chili and more! 11 am to 1 pm.
