Hello Trinity Friends.
This Sunday, our Minister Emerita, Rev, Kathy will lead our service. In Sunday School, the children will begin a unit on “How to Build a Church”.
Following the worship next Sunday May 4th, everyone is invited to stay for lunch followed by some lively discussion on the topic of how to turn our building challenges into building blessings! We hope to have a full house for this very important conversation. Childcare will be provided. During Sunday School that day, Amanda and Cindy will engage the children in conversation about this as well!
This Sunday April 27th at 1:30, the Rapport Singers will present their spring concert: Songs of Celebration – A Choral Tribute to North Bay’s 100th. Tickets are $20 Adults, $15 Students (12 & under are free).
Trinity Family News
Many of you have already heard the news of Trinity member, Geneva Thompson’s death this week. Geneva was 101 years old and was a long time member of our church family. She was a remarkable woman and will be dearly missed! Celebration of Life arrangements will happen later this spring. Details will be shared as soon as we have them! Her obituary can be found here Geneva’s Obituary
Next Saturday May 3rd at 7 pm is the Bucket List Cabaret. Come for an evening of great musical entertainment by many familiar faces (including some from Trinity) from the arts community as they perform their “bucket list” favourites from a variety of musicals! Proceeds will go towards the One Kids Place Autism Camps in memory of Jack Lyons. Suggested minimum donation of $15

This is the last week to bring in items for the Backpacks for Love Campaign. Thanks to generous donations from the AOTS and some individuals, many lipbalms, and flashlights have been purchased. We are still in need of mini flashlights and lighter, seasonal socks. Please drop them off to the labeled box in the Sanctuary or given to Sue Miller or Anne Smith. Thank you!
During Coffee Time in the Fellowship Hall, you can order your Maple Syrup from Dave McKenney. This is a fundraiser for the North Bay Scouts.
You can also pick up tickets for the 100th Anniversary events – Hops & Hymns with the Hosts at the Moose, Mustard Seed’s Happily Forever After Musical and the Stained Glass Window Tour. The 100th Anniversary weekend will conclude with a special celebration at the Callander Community Centre with United Churches from North Bay and area. This will be a joyful celebration that you will not want to miss. There will be a communal choir, special music, communion, a bbq lunch and icecream treats followed by some church picnic games. Plan to celebrate with us from Friday June 6th – Sunday June 8th! Pick up the brochure for more information!
One final announcement – registration is now open for Trinity’s Vacation Bible Camp. This takes place from July 21- 25. Registration forms are on the table outside the office or available by request!
See you at Trinity!
