Tonight is the launch of a brand new group at Trinity! Faith on Fridays is a fresh new group open to adults of all ages, designed for those who are progressive, curious, and inspired. Whether you’re searching, questioning, or simply ready to engage in open-minded conversation, you’re welcome here.Come join us as we kick off this new group tonight (Friday November 22nd) at 6 pm. Our featured cafe beverage this month is Peppermint Hot Chocolate.
This Reign of Christ Sunday the AOTS will be leading our service! We hope you will join us at 10:30 am! The AOTS men’s group meets (typically) on the first Saturday of the month. They provide support to many youth programs as well as support and encouragement to the church and our wider community. Their major fundraiser is selling gift cards. You can learn much more about that program in the attached flyer. If you don’t already purchase gift cards from the AOTS this is a perfect time to start – just in time for Christmas!
In Sunday School the children will continue to rehearse for their upcoming
Christmas Pageant on December 15. If your child missed last week’s rehearsal, you are still welcome to participate – there are a couple of speaking roles still to fill and of course our angel and animal choir could always use more voices!
Immediately following Sunday School and worship, children in grade 4 and up who wish to sing in the Choir Cantata on December 22nd are invited to a rehearsal! There will be a second rehearsal on December 1st – other rehearsal dates will be announced soon!
The 4 Trinity Cookie Walk is coming up on Saturday November 30th from 9:30 – 11:30 am. Men, women, teens, and families are encouraged to bake for the annual Christmas Cookie Walk so there is a good variety of cookies to choose from. We need plain, fancy and gluten free cookies and squares. Please drop off any cookie tins that you don’t need in the Narthex. There will be a box labeled Cookie Walk. Thank you Cookies for the Cookie Walk can be dropped off at the church on the morning of Friday November 29th. Thank you for baking and supporting this fundraiser!
Coffee Lovers (and those who have coffee lovers in their lives) – you can purchase delicious Muskoka Coffee from the Scouts. Choose from Ground, Beans, or Keurig style pods, only $20 each. There are several enticing flavours available, including Butter Tart, Nanaimo Bar, and Muskoka Maple. These make great Christmas gifts! You can place an order after church this Sunday!
The Barrel Boys are returning to Trinity on December 4th at 7:30 pm with Carols from the Barrel! They are a fantastic bluegrass and roots music band with amazing harmonies that will have you tapping your toes! Tickets are available from the church office or at the door.
