Trinity United Church North Bay

Hello Trinity Friends and Happy Hallowe’en!

This Sunday we celebrate All Saints Day, with a special remembering of Trinity member John Mitchell during the service. We hope you will join us at 10:30 am – BUT don’t forget to turn your clocks back an hour before you go to bed on Saturday night or you will be very early!

A special note of gratitude to Destiny, Malcolm, Ryker and Nancy from FIRST Team 1305, who have been helping us build our Lego Church!  This Sunday we will get to see the completed cathedral! And thanks to all those who have donated to the $1/brick fundraiser.

Next Sunday November will be our special Remembrance Service – we are joined by the J.O.Y. Band who will enrich our service with music, along with Bob Cook, who will play the bagpipes.

The Compassionate Committee of North Bay invites you to an informative and engaging presentation on What You Need to Know About Helping People Who are Unhoused in Trinity’s Sanctuary on Monday November 2nd 7 pm. Many of the attendees are people who are already involved in this outreach but this session is also for people who are not involved.  You will hear stories of lived experiences and learn practical ways we can all respond with compassion, respect and hope. The session is free to attend.  Donations of new hats, mitts, warm socks, scarves or money for the purchase of boots and shoes for the Winter Boot Campaign are encouraged!

The bulletin is filled with upcoming special events and announcements – you can view it on our website www.trinitynorthbay.ca

Here are a few highlights – take a look at your bulletin for more announcements and information.
