Trinity this week!

Hello Trinity Friends!

Last Sunday we kicked off our season with a joy filled Rally back service followed by our Church Family Picnic. It was a  wonderful afternoon of fun, fellowship and food enjoyed by approximately 80 people!  Thanks to Sandra for leading worship, Cindy for organizing games, Janice and Rae for bringing the desserts, Matt and Marcel for musical leadership, Ed and Judi for turkey, the AOTS (men’s group) for ham and buns, Sue and Julia for face painting, and the Christian Education Committee for organizing (and cleaning).  Thanks also to all the children, youth and adults who came out and spent a great day with us!

We are looking forward to a great fall filled with meaningful worship, fantastic music, terrific programs and warm fellowship.  Please mark your calendars and plan to join us whenever you are able!

Junior Choir will be starting up again this Sunday – 9:30 am in the Sanctuary.  All children JK and up are welcome!  Children will learn new music, make friends and have the opportunity to sing for the congregation periodically throughout the year.  For more information please speak with Miss Peggy (Miller).

It is that time of the year again…Apple Pies!

There are plenty of opportunities to help out with this amazing community project.  If you have not helped out before it is really something to experience!  There are sign-up sheets in the Sunday School room – please sign up for whatever time you can give.

Trinity’s Food Shelf has expanded to include the Infant Food Shelf.  This program is for families with infants up to age 12 months who are in need of supplies for their newborns.  The program is open Wednesdays from 11:30 – 1:30 pm.  A breakfast program for anyone in need will begin after Thanksgiving.  This program will run Monday mornings from 9 – 9:30.  We are looking for volunteers for both of these programs.  If you would like to volunteer for a day or two a month please speak with Lisa Blais.
