RALLY BACK SUNDAY IS THIS SUNDAY!

Hello Trinity Friends!

This Sunday, September 13, we celebrate Rally Back Sunday — the return to our regular routines and the official start of a new Sunday School year!

BACKPACK & BAG BLESSING
During Children’s Time, Rev. Ted will be blessing backpacks, school bags and work bags! Bring your bag to church with you this Sunday and let’s bless the year ahead.

ANNUAL CHURCH FAMILY PICNIC
Sunday, September 13 | 2–6 pm
📍 Camp Tillicum, 774 Tillicum Bay Road

Join us for an afternoon of food, games, fellowship and fun on the shores of Lake Nipissing, followed by a lakeside vespers service.

We’ll provide sandwich meat and buns, refreshments and ice-cream treats. Please bring a potluck appetizer or side dish, plus your own plates, cutlery and lawn chair.

Everyone is welcome! Need directions? Just reach out.

TRINITY FAMILY NEWS

It is with sadness that we share that Trinity member John Mitchell died last week. John dearly loved his church family and will be deeply missed. Our sympathies and prayers are with all of John’s family and friends. Plans to honour and celebrate his life will be shared at a later time.

🎉 100 YEARS OF EARL JOHNSTON! 🎉

Help us celebrate Earl’s 100th birthday!
Saturday, September 19 | 1–3 pm
Open House with family and friends
Best wishes only!

Congratulations, Earl, from all your Trinity Friends! ❤️

FOOD SHELF SHOPPERS NEEDED

Our Food Shelf has been busier than ever, and we’re grateful to everyone who helps keep our shelves stocked.

We’re looking for additional shoppers. Gift cards are provided, and even shopping for one item a month makes a difference!

Interested in helping? Speak with Lisa.

APPLE PIE TIME!

The Trinity Apple Pie project is underway!

Volunteers are needed for:
September 22 & 23 — Pie Bottoms
October 3 — Apple Picking
October 4 — Apple Washing
October 5–8 — Pie Assembly

New and seasoned pie volunteers are welcome! You don’t have to stay for the whole time — even an hour or two is a huge help.

And don’t forget to get your pie orders in ASAP! An article about the project will soon appear in the paper, and we expect lots of orders!
