Hello Trinity Friends,

I hope you have all had a restful and renewing summer holiday. I am writing to you with a quick update before we return to worship on Sunday September 8th. As you know, roof work has begun in Trinity’s sanctuary and it is moving along well. Unfortunately (and perhaps not surprisingly) it will not be done by the time we return to worship for Rally Back Sunday. We will likely hold our morning worship in the Fellowship Hall – where we can enjoy our coffee and our worship service. The afternoon will continue as planned, with a Rally Back Picnic and Evening Vespers on the shores of Lake Nipissing at Camp Tillicum from 3 until 7. More information will be sent out next week about that.

We are anticipating a return to worship in the Sanctuary on Sunday September 15th. We will be looking for a few volunteers who would be willing to help clean the Sanctuary and surrounding areas on Saturday September 14th from 8 am to noon. More information will be announced about that when we return to worship on Rally Back Sunday.

A reminder that the offices at Trinity will re-open on Wednesday September 4th. I hope you all have a wonderful labour day weekend and for those of you with young people returning to school, that the week runs smoothly!
