Our Mission
We believe God is calling Trinity United Church to:
- Reach out and serve the wider community and the world
- To nurture spirituality in people of all ages
- To be a safe, open, welcoming and inclusive community of faith.
What do those words mean? Well, we gather together because we think that’s what God wants for us—to be a community. More than a community, we are like a big family who take care of each other and work hard to love and care for the world around us. And, like Jesus, we try to love and welcome everyone — regardless of who they are or where they come from!

Trinity Groups
Groups for Youth & Kids
Trinity Youth Group
Trinity youth, and occasionally youth from other area churches, meet throughout the year. We participate in a variety of fun activities with a goal towards building a community of faith and friendship. We hold a yearly Prayer Vigil, organize a major Christmas Bag Outreach, participate in the occasional bible study, attend wider Church events such as Worshiplude, the Niagara Youth Festival and Rendezvous, enjoy local events such as Escape Rooms, Nature Hikes, Games Nights and more!
Sunday School
Our Sunday School is dynamic and fun. You may find us in the kitchen cooking, in the gym playing games, in the fellowship hall doing crafts and more! We use a rotational model of Sunday school where children engage the bible story through crafts, cooking, games, discovery, music, drama and more! All children are welcome!
We also have a nursery for pre-school aged children which is supervised by a paid caregiver.
Nursery
Children from birth to age 3 are cared for by a paid caregiver. Our nursery is a cozy, safe and fun place for children to spend time in while their parents, grandparents or caregivers attend worship service. Our caregivers must pass a vulnerable sector criminal record screening.
Mustard Seed Theatre Group
Mustard Seed Theatre sprang from the idea that important things can grow from tiny actions. In the parable of the mustard seed, Jesus compares the tiny seed to the Kingdom of Heaven, revealing that the smallest of seeds sprout into a great plant that provides shelter for living creatures (Mark 4:31-32). Mustard Seed was created in 2007 to provide opportunities for youth to build community around a common love of theatre.
Trinity Families
We are a group of Trinity people committed to having fun with and without our kids. We get together for outings in the North Bay area, and sometimes we get sitters and stay up late doing things that would bore the kids.
We participate in a yearly winter retreat on Family Day weekend, host a friendly Chili Cook-off and Music Night, set up special VIP seating for the Santa Claus Parade, hold a outdoor movie night, a Hallowe’en party, games nights and more!
Infant Food Shelf
Trinity United Church holds an Infant Food Bank for families with infants up to 12 months of age each Wednesday from 10 am to 12 noon. ID required.
Items that are available are:
Diapers, Baby Food, Wipes, Gift cards for formula, and other baby supplies as available.
