Trinity United Church North Bay

Hello Trinity Friends,

Last week, we heard the good news about our organ. The Trinity Church family is grateful to James Munro for saving our organ and agreeing to service it. After several months without organ music, it was appropriate that we were able to enjoy the organ again on Thanksgiving Sunday.

Our Sanctuary is in the process of being transformed for the upcoming run of The Great Gatsby.  Trinity Arts is thrilled to partner with Gateway Theatre Guild on this world class production, directed by Rod Carley. This beloved classic comes to life as a 1940’s radio broadcast in this spirited adaptation of THE GREAT GATSBY, based on the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald and adapted by Joe Landry. Featuring a live band showcasing music by Kevin Connors. Adults $25 Students/Seniors $20 Oct 22-25 at 7pm and Oct 26 at 1pm. Visit www.gatewaytheatreguild.ca to purchase tickets or pick them up at the door.

On Sunday October 26th, the UCW will be hosting a lunch after church so that Trinity friends can attend the Gatsby Matinee performance.  All proceeds from Sunday’s matinee will go towards Trinity.

This Sunday during worship we will be joined by a (familiar) member of the cast of The Great Gatsby.  We will also hear a Stewardship Story as part of our Legacy campaign.  While you are having your coffee after church, take a look at the bulletin board collage the Sunday School made last Sunday as part of the campaign!

We have a lot going on at Trinity this month.  We hope you will join us at some (or all) of the following events (including The Great Gatsby mentioned earlier)
