Happy Friday Trinity friends,
This Sunday is World Communion Sunday – we celebrate and share communion with our Christian siblings from around the world and across many denominations!
In Sunday School the children will be hearing the bible story of the widow and the unjust judge and discussing the importance of perseverance in prayer and in life!
Pie Week at Trinity
If you want to order apple pies for your Thanksgiving dinner (or your freezers for whenever you need a pie) please get your orders in! Pies are being made starting Monday morning through to Thursday. The pie order form is attached to this email – as well you can contact Darlene Laferriere or the Church Office to place your order!
Pie week volunteers needed
This Sunday after church, we will need apple washers and a few people to set up the stations for pie assembly. If you can help out after church, that would be appreciated.
We are also in need of people to help assemble the pies ! We need fresh new helpers to assist some of our regular helpers! It is a wonderful multi generational, fun activity and it feels good to know you are supporting the church that we all love! Please consider helping out when you can. There are several shifts to choose from. Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm and for those in school or at work, there is a Tuesday evening shift from 6 to 8:30 pm. Come be a part of this major fundraiser of the church!
Next week is Thanksgiving Sunday. On this Sunday, we will be collecting donations of food or funds for our Food Shelf Ministries. Non-perishable food items such as: peanut butter, canned soup/stew, canned milk, cereal, pasta, canned meat and fish are all appreciated. Warm socks, feminine hygiene products, cat and dog food, diapers (size 6 and under )are also appreciated! Thank you for supporting this important outreach! The Sunday School will collect the items during worship on Sunday.
A reminder of these upcoming exciting events happening in our Sanctuary space later this month!
