Trinity Weekly Update

Hello Trinity Friends!

This weekend at Trinity will be filled with celebrations, excitement and thanks giving!

We hope that you will have the chance to join us.

This Sunday June 14th please join us for a very special celebratory Communion Service!

During our morning worship we will give thanks to our Sunday School teachers and helpers.  We have had a great year of Sunday School programs and we are incredibly grateful to all our volunteers.   During this service there will be a special UCW bible presentation to students going into Grade 6.   We are also happy to celebrate Rev. David Cook’s 60th Anniversary of Ordained Ministry.

Following the worship service all are invited to come down and enjoy a hotdog lunch.  (Free will offering).

This weekend we are excited to be presenting Dream On.  Dream On: a musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Continuing on our “Year of Shakespeare” begun earlier this year with King Lear, Mustard Seed Children’s Theatre will be presenting Dream On, a musical adaptation of William Shakespeare’s, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  Mustard Seed Theatre was created in 2007 to provide opportunities for youth to build community around a common love of theatre.   Dream On,  is a musical comedy of mischief, mayhem, fairies and fools and is directed by Darlene Laferriere with musical direction by Brenda McLay.  Two performances only!  Saturday June 13th at 7pm or Sunday Matinee, June 14th at 1:30 pm at Trinity United Church, North Bay (corner of Ferguson and McIntyre streets) Tickets are $10 for Adults and $5 Children 12 and under. You can purchase your tickets at the door.  Please come out and support the hard work and talent of this incredible group!

Thank-you to the Joyful Bells for providing a dessert reception after the Mustard Seed performances.  Donations for the purchase of a set of bells would be gratefully received!
