Greetings on this Thanksgiving weekend! This Sunday at 10:30 am, we celebrate Thanksgiving Sunday. We will be joined by special guest instrumentalists who will enhance our musical offerings. We will hear a special Stewardship message by one of Trinity’s youngest givers and view our catchy Stewardship Campaign Video.
In Sunday School, the children will make something with some of the left over Trinity Apple pie apples and learn about sharing and gratitude.
Speaking of Apples, a huge thank you to Darlene Laferriere and her team of incredible volunteers who made over 1200 delicious apple pies this past week! There will be more details shared in the days to come. Think of how many tables will be graced with a delicious Trinity apple pie this weekend! Thank you Darlene and all the many volunteers who make this major fundraiser a success!
In keeping with a message of gratitude – special thanks also to the members of First Team 1305 who have been helping us build our lego church each week. A reminder that this Sunday, we invite you to bring in your mini lego figure if you have one!
Traditionally on Thanksgiving Sunday, we ask the Congregation to bring in items or cash donations to our Trinity Food Shelf. Our Food Bank provides compassionate service and food to over 300 people a month. Your gifts of non-perishable food or money will help keep our cupboards full. Items that would be most useful are: cereal, peanut butter, canned milk, soup, pasta, canned luncheon meat, feminine hygiene products and other toiletries. The Sunday School children will collect your offerings this Sunday. Thanks for supporting this very needed outreach.
A reminder that Sunday October 25th we celebrate Hallowe’en Sunday. Word on the street is that we will be joined by a very special guest! We encourage anyone to come in costume and join in the fun!
The UCW will gather in the Fireside Room on TUES. OCT. 13th at 1:00 pm. Please note the change in date. All are welcome to join us for tea, fellowship and conversation.
