Trinity United Church North Bay

Happy Friday Trinity Friends,

This Sunday, following our morning worship service, there will be a brief presentation by the Foundation for our Faithful Future Team to officially kick-off our Capital Campaign.  This will take place in the Sanctuary immediately following worship.  If you are not able to be at church on Sunday, please feel free to reach out to one of the Trinity staff to pick up your Campaign package.

This upcoming week, we move into the next phase of our Apple Pie project. New and seasoned pie volunteers are needed! Don’t feel obliged to stay for the whole time period. If you can only volunteer an hour or two, that is also appreciated. With your help, this will once again be a successful fundraising event full of fun!

• Tuesday September 22, 9:00-1pm; Pie Bottoms: mix, roll and cut
• Wednesday September 23rd, 9:00-1pm; Pie Bottoms mix, roll and cut

Parking Note:  Thanks to Martyn Funeral Home who has offered the use of their parking lot on September 22nd and 23rd (only until noon on Wednesday please)

Next Sunday September 27th, we celebrate St. Francis Sunday with a Pet Blessing.  You are welcome to bring your friendly live pet or an animal memento, photo or “stuffie” to church for a blessing!

This Sunday we also commemorate Orange Shirt Day – you are encouraged to wear Orange to honour those children and families affected by residential schools and the ongoing effects on Indigenous peoples.
