Hello Trinity Friends,
This evening is Trinity’s Annual Coffee House Talent night. Come enjoy some amazing desserts, gourmet coffee and fantastic entertainment. We have a variety of great talent lined up, including our favourite House band – The Hosts, who will kick things off at 6:30 pm. Doors will open until 6 pm (not before – we need time to set-up). If you are bringing a dessert in, please drop it into the kitchen or Fireside room between 9 and 12 today or after 5 tonight. Admission is by donation to the Trinity Building Restoration Fund (suggested minimum $20)
Please join us for worship this Sunday April 12 at 10:30 am. A hymn sing will take place at 10:15 – it is your opportunity to sing your favourite hymn! Plan to come back (or bring a lunch and stay) for the Joyful Bells Spring Concert at 1:30 pm. Admission is by free will offering, to the Trinity Endowment Fund in Memory of Cindy Brownlee. f you are not able to attend this concert, there are 2 other opportunities to see them. Sunday April 19th at 2 at Zion United Church, Sundridge. or Wednesday May 6th at 7:00 pm at Calvin Presbyterian Church, North Bay.
We have a full weekend of musical entertainment planned next week, beginning with a special evening of music featuring the Salvation Army Heritage Brass Band and our own Trinity Church Choir! Friday April 17th, 7 pm. All proceeds for the evening’s free will offering will go towards Trinity’s Building Restoration Fund. Complimentary refreshments and fellowship in the hall following the performance.
On Saturday April 18th, 7 pm, join us for a coffee house style concert featuring Kristen Martel, award winning bilingual Nova Scotia artist joined by Caleb Smith, North Country Towers. The concert will take place in the Fellowship Hall at Trinity. Doors open at 6 pm – come and socialize and enjoy some incredible coffee from Callander Coffee Company and cake from Opera Bakery Cafe! before the show – included in the price of your ticket! $25 ($20 for students).
Sunday April 19th, the Rapport Singers will present their Spring Concert: Here’s to Song! The choir’s repertoire is eclectic, ranging from classical and popular to folk and jazz, drawn from the vast history of music and all regions around the globe. Doors open at 1pm, concert at 1:30 pm. Cash at the door $20 (Students $15, Children 12 and under are free)
