Hello Trinity Friends,
 
Please join us this Sunday at 10:30 am. Our service will take us on a journey from Palm to Passion beginning with commemorating Jesus’ joyful entry into Jerusalem and the waiving of Palms Our Lenten Blues musicians are The Midnight Collective and they will be offering music during the prelude as well as in our worship service. 
 
During Sunday School, we will have a short practice for the Sunday School’s Easter Sunday musical offering. We will also be celebrating Palm Sunday by playing some games and folding Palm crosses.

This Saturday!
The Friends of Camp Caritou is hosting a Pasta Dinner in honour of our dear friend, CIndy Brownlee. The Cindy Brownlee Memorial Pasta Dinner takes place this Saturday March 28th from 5:00 – 6:30 PM: (Includes a Silent Auction) Cost: $15 Adults | $5 Children (10 & under). Tickets available at the door.
Following the Pasta Dinner, plan to attend a concert by folk musician, David Francey. David is a Scottish-born Canadian carpenter-turned-songwriter, who has become known as “one of Canada’s most revered folk poets and singers”.  Tickets available at the door $40

Don’t forget to purchase your tickets for the GOOD FRIDAY BREAKFAST  sponsored by Trinity AOTS,  and catered by (Trinity’s own)Tony Campbell’s PERCH catering! All are welcome for a delicious and hearty breakfast on Friday April 3rd at 8:30 am. Tickets must be purchased or reserved in advance as numbers are limited. For payment information, please call the office, or Moe Laporte at 705-495-1090. Adults $15, Students $10. Family $40 (2 Adults, 2 children). 
 
The UCW will be purchasing lilies for the Sanctuary on Easter Sunday. Only 36 lilies will be ordered. If you would like to dedicate an Easter Lily in memory of, or to honour someone, please fill in the order from in your bulletin or call: Rae 705-472-2619   Claudette 705-476-5556 The lilies will be placed in the Sanctuary for Easter Sunday and then you may take them home after the service to enjoy.

MUSTARD SEED INFO SESSION:  Calling all young aspiring actors and tech enthusiasts! Mustard Seed Theatre is back and looking for YOU to help bring our newest show, “The Prodigal Clown,” to life this June!  We are hosting an Information Session this Sunday, March 29th from 12 – 2  pm where you can meet the team, hear more about the show, and find out how to get involved—whether that’s on stage or behind the scenes on our tech team. This is a great chance for the kids to ask questions and for parents to see the rehearsal schedule leading up to our show dates on June 13th and 14th. If you can’t make it to the session but still want to participate, please contact Lisa at blais.trinity@gmail.com
 
Maundy Thursday Potluck – with leadership from St. Andrew’s United Church, hosted by Trinity.  Please join us for a Maundy Thursday Potluck on Thursday, April 2 at Trinity United Church.  Arrive starting 5 pm, and plan to eat at 5:30 pm.  Table Communion Worship  will follow the meal.  Please bring your own plate and cutlery and a potluck dish to share!
 

Lectio Divina
Are you interested in exploring the practice of Lectio Divina (Latin for Divine Reading), a meditative reading of Scripture?  Anne and Richard Smith are inviting people to come to their home on Monday, April 20th between 5:30 and 7:30. The time will start with some soup and bread, followed by Lectio Divina. There will be periods of quiet meditation during which Richard will provide music on the harp. Feel free to talk with Anne, Richard, Ted or Lisa if you have questions. Please contact the church office or sign the sheet downstairs if you plan to attend since space is limited. (It would also be helpful to know if you are interested in future lectio divina sessions but are unable to attend on April 20th.)

St. Andrew’s Loaves and Fishes Community Food Bank requires a  FOOD BANK MANAGER to work with a dedicated group of volunteers to oversee operation of the food bank. This position includes ensuring adequate food inventory, managing volunteers and coordinating with donors and community partners to meet the needs of our clients. 
Hours per week:  15 hours Hourly wage:  Ontario Minimum wage plus benefits. Application Deadline:  5 p.m., Mon., March 30th
