Hello Trinity Friends,
This Sunday at 10:30 am we will celebrate National Indigenous Day during our worship. Special thanks to Donna Sinclair and the Indigenous Solidarity Team for their contributions to our service this Sunday.
As we have moved into Stage 1 of the reopening plan, we are now open for in person worship. Please note that there are a limited amount of seating and Covid protocols must be followed. You will find our Covid Safety Plan and Protocols on our website. The Trinity Top 10 tips for return to in person worship is also attached for easy reference.
Our worship services will continue to be available on YouTube, and on Cogeco’s YourTV Channel 12 (700HD). Our YouTube channel has a few other special playlists available as well, including messages of hope and starting next week, a brand new feature called Trinity Spotlights! More information will be shared next week! You can find our worship services here Trinity’s YouTube Page
Staff continue to work from home as they are able. If you need to reach any of us, please be sure to call the church office or email us should you need to reach us or come into the church.
Indigenous Peoples Day Please take some time this weekend to celebrate, honour and learn about the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples across Turtle Island! If you are looking for more information, please feel free to reach out to me (Lisa) and I would be happy to help! There are some helpful and informative resources available on the Canadian Shield Regional Council website to help celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day. You will find a video and pilgrimage package commemorating the 35th Anniversary of the Apology, an Indigenous Summer Reading List which includes books for children and adults, and much more. https://canadianshieldrc.ca/right-relations/
Don’t forget to reserve your spot in the Virtual Family Picnic scheduled for Canada Day weekend. You will not want to miss this! For a donation of $10 per person or $25 per family, you will get a fantastic package emailed to you with some great activities for families, adults and children, some recipe ideas and a devotional! Plus, you will be supporting the roof fund. Thank you to all who have contributed so far – and thanks to those of you who are donating extra money so that all families who wish to participate can! Register by Sunday June 27th with Darlene or Lisa.
Happy Father’s Day weekend!
