Hello Trinity Friends,
Please join us for worship this Sunday at 10:30 am – the second Sunday in Advent.  A Christmas Carol sing-a-long will begin around 10:15 am. We light the candle of Peace and celebrate White Gift Sunday.  Your donations of gifts or money will help provide food for those who need it, as well as a small Christmas gift bag to those who would appreciate it.  For more information see the note later in this email. For those who are unable to attend in person, you will be able to watch on YouTube here Trinity’s YouTube Channel anytime or on Cogeco’s YourTV Channel 12/700HD the following Sunday morning at 8 am and 9 pm.

Please read through this email for a couple of important announcements and upcoming activities.

An important announcement about Vaccine Status

Thank you to all those who took the time to complete our survey.  Your responses aided the Covid Risk Management Team and your Board in making an informed decision to proceed with requiring proof of vaccination for attending worship beginning next Sunday December 12.

The Covid Risk Team and your Church Board prayerfully considered the needs of the congregation. At the heart of the decision was the desire to ensure the well being and safety of all those who wish to attend in person worship. With a vaccine passport we will be able to increase our capacity, providing an opportunity for more people to return to in-person worship safely and comfortably.

Here is what to expect when arriving to worship beginning December 12th.

·       You will need to show proof of vaccine status, along with a piece of identification each time you attend worship or any activities of the church. (The Monday Food Bank, Infant Food Shelf and Recovery programs are exempt from the vaccine requirement.  Children under 12, Contractors, individuals visiting or meeting with a staff member that are not part of a larger group are also exempt)

·       Contact Tracing and Screening will continue (as per the Health Unit’s requirements)

·       Masks must be worn at all times

·       Physical distancing is encouraged when possible.

Our worship services will continue to be available on our YouTube Channel and on Cogeco’s YourTV for those who are unable to attend in person worship.
