Trinity this Week – Lent 4

Hello Trinity Friends,
This Sunday is the fourth Sunday in Lent.  A reminder that Rev. Ted proposed a Lenten challenge to commit an act of random generosity or kindness this week.  If you (or your children) have not done so yet, consider this your gentle reminder 🙂
A reminder also that tomorrow is the UCW’s Cafeteria Style Luncheon.  All are welcome – many of our downtown businesses look forward to this monthly lunch – sandwiches, soups, chili, desserts and refreshments at reasonable prices!  11 am – 1 pm Friday March 29th.
In this week’s bulletin you will find order forms for AOTS Hams and Easter Lilies – there are also order forms on the table outside the Office for delicious Hot Cross Buns and Scones from Cob’s bakery!
Last weekend was a busy wknd for Trinity  – the Annual Red Hot Chili Night was a fantastic success – raising $866 for Trinity Families.  Thanks to the Chili and Dessert Chefs and to all the musicians who offered their talent!  Thanks to the Sanders Family for their organizational efforts, to Brian Risk for coordinating the music and to Rod Carley for narrating.  The St Pierre family swept the awards – winning Judges favourite, Best Dressed and Best Dessert.  Eunice Laporte won Judges runner up!
At the Annual Trinity Rocks Curling event – fun was had!  Some “live” footage was posted on the Trinity Families page for your viewing pleasure!  We have some fun awards to give out – those will be posted later on our Facebook page and website!
This Sunday Mustard Seed will begin rehearsals for their upcoming musical “Not Your Average Joe”  Mustard Seed cast members will meet in the Sanctuary at noon for a short hour rehearsal.  Rehearsals will be Sundays from 12:30 to 2:30 (except for Easter and May long weekend) – and some Wednesdays from 5 – 6:30.  Please bring a binder for your script and a water bottle.

Spring Blessings!
