Trinity this week – First Sunday in Lent

Hello Trinity Friends,
This Sunday is the first Sunday in Lent.  We will have a special Lenten Communion Service at 10:30 am, led by Rev. Kathy McCallum.  Some of the families will be attending the Family Retreat weekend at Spirit Point, however,  Sunday School and the nursery will still be available this Sunday for those families who are not attending the retreat.
Throughout the season of Lent, our theme will be “PRAYERscapes.”  Your bulletin, Rev. Ted’s message, the music and our Sunday School lessons will all explore and introduce us to various prayer practices. Come deepen your prayer experience each Sunday as we journey through Lent.
A reminder that next Saturday is the Coldest Night Walk with the Subzero Superheroes.  We will gather at the Algonquin School between 4 and 4:30.  Opening ceremonies are at 5.  Walkers, please bring all your pledges in as they will collect it at the registration table.  If anyone else would like to join us for the walk, you are more than welcome!  Click on the link to donate or join the team. http://walk.w-ith.me/subzerosuperheroes
