Trinity this week! May 19, 2017

Hello Trinity Friends,

The Sanctuary has been restored back to its original state and things are a little quieter around here this week now that Romeo and Juliet has finished its run.  We have heard from many of the cast members of how welcome they were made to feel and what an incredibly active and special Church we have.  We had approximately 500 people attend the performances as well as 130 students for the school show. Trinity’s matinee benefit performance brought in just over $1000 which goes towards Trinity’s General Funds.  Thank-you once again, for your support and your willingness to embrace the arts.

This Sunday, is a Baptism Sunday. The Junior Choir will be singing this morning.  Please join us for worship at 10:30 am.

Trinity’s 2nd Annual Talent and Services Silent Auction
Trinity’s Talent and Services Auction bid sheets are on display in the Fellowship Hall and there may be a few more to come. Silent Auction will close on Sunday June 4th 2017.
We have some great items to bid on. Babysitting, boat rides, yard work, tour in a vintage sports car to name a few. Plus there is some great baking to bid on too. All money raised goes to Trinity general funds. Please be generous with your offer of a talent or service and with your bidding.

THE TRINITY INFANT FOOD SHELF has been selected for the 2017 Charity Day at Heritage Railway and Carousel Company. We will be receiving the revenue from the rides that day toward program supplies. The date for this exciting adventure is Saturday, June 3rd at the waterfront from 10:00am to dusk. Please come out to support us and have a ride on the train and carousels.

Hello Trinity Friends!

This Sunday 10:30 am, will be our last Shakespeare Sunday. Rod Carley and cast members Caleb, Joshua and Kaitlyn, will join us for worship.  If you have not had a chance to see the show, please be sure to go support the excellent work of these hard working actors.  There are 3 shows left.  Tonight and Saturday night at 7:30 and a matinee on Sunday at 2 pm.  The cast and crew of Romeo and Juliet have generously offered all proceeds from Sunday’s performance as a donation to Trinity United Church.  We are grateful to have had the opportunity to once again merge arts and faith in our community.
